Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of surfacing services by Danmac Surfacing. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Definitions
- "Company" refers to Danmac Surfacing
- "Customer" refers to the individual or entity purchasing our services
- "Services" refers to all surfacing work provided by the Company
- "Quote" refers to the written estimate provided for Services
2. Quotations
- All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Quotes are based on the scope of work discussed and site conditions observed
- Additional work discovered during the project will be quoted separately
- Prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated
3. Payment Terms
- A deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking
- Balance is due upon completion of the work
- Payment can be made by bank transfer, cheque, or cash
- Late payments may incur interest charges at 2% per month
4. Work Schedule
- Start dates are subject to weather conditions and may need to be rescheduled
- We will provide reasonable notice of any delays
- Work hours are typically Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm
- Out-of-hours work can be arranged for commercial projects
5. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide clear access to the work area
- Remove vehicles and obstacles before work commences
- Ensure all underground services are clearly marked
- Obtain necessary permissions from relevant authorities
- Ensure the work area is safe for our personnel
6. Warranty
- Tarmac driveways: 10-year warranty on workmanship
- Commercial surfacing: 5-year warranty on workmanship
- Repairs and patching: 2-year warranty
- Warranty excludes damage from misuse, accidents, or extreme weather
- Warranty is void if work is altered by third parties
7. Limitations of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the value of the Services provided
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
- We maintain public liability insurance of £5 million
8. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before scheduled start
- Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations within 48 hours
- We reserve the right to cancel due to adverse weather conditions
9. Health & Safety
- All work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Customers must keep children and pets away from work areas
- Our personnel are fully trained and insured
10. Complaints Procedure
We aim to resolve any complaints within 7 days. Please contact us immediately if you have any concerns about our work. We will arrange a site visit if required and work to find a satisfactory resolution.
11. Materials and Specifications
- All materials meet British Standards
- We reserve the right to substitute equivalent materials if specified products are unavailable
- Any changes will be communicated to the Customer
12. Intellectual Property
All designs, plans, and specifications remain the property of Danmac Surfacing unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather conditions, acts of God, or supply chain disruptions.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
